I promised to myself that every year or even monthly i will make a letter for you anak. Last year, i did. but then i wasnt able to finish it :( but i was able to write it. Dont worry i will still keep it and give it to you once you learn how to read :)

Dear Anak,

Happy 2nd birthday anak! Imagine you already giving mommmy and daddy two wonderful years and counting?:) Thanks anak for everything. You really never fail to amaze us.We love everything about you sweetie.your tricks,your wiggle wiggle dance,your dance moves,your pacute pose,your smartness,everything anak..EVERYTHING....

When you turned 18 months i stopped counting the words that you can say.Because everyday there's a new words in your vocabulary.You really amazed us darling. When we had our regular pedia check up in manila, you were 22 months that time. your pedia asked me if you can already say 30 words atleast. Then i told her in a very very proud voice, its actually more than 70 words! :) She told me that you're such a smart girl. You made me and daddy so proud again baby..When you learned how to say daddy and mommy clearly, thats the best,priceless,heaven word i have ever heard in my entire life. I really never thought that someone would call me that and even daddy. And right now anak, super sa dami mo ng alam na words! super talaga! You can make a sentence na :) You never stop surprising us.

You're such a book lover too! whenever you see books you will go crazy and will tell me "mommy open read book " that's one of my dream for you...to be a book lover :) You made it come true baby.. Hay anak daddy and mommy are so proud of you and ofcourse blessed :)

This is your first visit to the library and you enjoyed reading books!:)

Oh By the way, i know someday you will be like your daddy and ninong john who is really good at art. At this age, you really know how to hold a pen and you know how to draw lines and circle. And most of the time you use your imagination, like you said you are drawing eyes, ear,house, car,etc but you only draw lines. and sometimes you even draw mommy's face haha

The other day, while we were having our routine body wash before bed time, you suddenly said,"Baby its hot " in a very very clear voice. I always tell you that not to touch the water first because i need to check if its hot,cold or warm. I cant believe what i heard, you are now trying to copy mommy! hahaha!

You know anak, daddy and mommy are so proud of you. You changed alot. You used to be a shy baby. that you would hide up your face whenever strangers look at you. But now, you are shy no more! you can interact with other people now, and you even show them your bibo moves!And u even learned how to "bless" or "mano"in tagalog to give respect to older people.. You made us proud anak.

This September your going to school na.Mixed emotions. I think i'm gonna cry on your first day. But Dont worry anak mommy will be alright it's just that cant believe that you'll start to face the reality,the real world.i really pray that you wont have a hard time in your school, i know naman you wont kasi your a fast learner and one smart kid! It's just that i cant imagine you inside the classroom with other strangers/students. For me it's too early but i have no choice anak,if i didnt let you go to school this year,you'll be late in hk academics and the school that me and daddy wants for you will not accept you because they want students to enroll at their nursery first.Dont worry anak we will not pressure you :) Just enjoy your schooling :) Remember daddy and mommy will be the coolest parents? :) And dont worry anak even if mommy is working i'll come to rescue you if someone tries to bully you. Lagot sila sakin! :))

Baby,don't worry daddy and mommy will not be tired of you. Even up to now, you still wakes up in the middle of the night and ask for milk and we need to change diapers. You really have to thank dad for this bec he is always the one who will make milk and change your diaper. There was one time baby, It was saturday, I think it's 6 am and we were all sleeping then i suddenly heard you cry and calling out "mommy mommy mommy" i thought you are awake but when i looked at you, you're just dreaming, your eyes are close then suddenly you opened it a little then you saw me,you stopped crying and you went back to your sleep. You made me feel anak that i am the best mom in the world.

Again, thank you baby ko for everything.Thanks for giving us meaningful life. You are the meaning of our life. You made us proud not only me and daddy but the whole agtarap and pagilagan family.Anak, just always remember we love you so much. and We will do anything and everything for you. You are our world,our universe, strength,our inspiration,our happines,our other half and our Life... Again, Happy 2nd Birthday my little princess Sofia Jae. 3 days to go til my baby's 2nd birthday party ( 1 day to go till she turn 2! ) I am praying that my DIY party will turn out the way i dream/wanted to be! It's really hard for me to source out materials here. Very limited materials plus super pricey!

Balloons - Done! Bought it at Simply love :) Super love this shop!:) but Imagine we bought the balloons for 1,000 hkd! that means 6,000 php! OA! No decoration,delivery fee etc yan just balloons. But anyway,what is important naman is that my baby girl will be so happy once she see the balloons that we bought :)

Venue - We already paid the full amount last saturday. I just have to finalized how many tables and chairs i need. We've got around 50-60 adult guest and 25 Kids. :)

Menu - All finalized! :)

My cake/candy bar - I am almost done shopping for candies,gummies and jars. And the banner that my brother made( again thanks to him for helping me and ofcourse thanks to my ideas and concepts.haha!) we have already picked that up 3 weeks ago :) Btw i am so happy, i was supposed to DIY a cupcake tower but then i realized that i can use it for my own later on since i like to bake naman so we just decided to buy my own cupcake tower! Yipeeee! I've been dreaming for this! and finally, after the long search, i already found a candy scooper!!! It's kinda pricey since it's wilton but i have no choice. hehe Super happineess!!!

Oh btw, i even bought cotton candy maker! :) We had fun trying the cotton candy! Super aliw! hehe For the flavors, i bought the strawberry,pineapple,grape and orange! :)

Oh Two-oooodles! A Minnie Mouse Party!:)

"Oh Toodles!" This is one of sofia's fave word to say if she see minnie mouse and friends :P she would instantly say "oh toodles" with matching the hand pa. too cute i swear. If your a parent for sure you know what is "Oh Toodles" Or if you're curious try it to watch disney jr mickey mouse clubhouse! :) And once she marinig and makita nya ang mickey clubhouse. she will dance! esp the hotdog dance! hahaha You're tooooo cute talaga anak! :)

Anyways,this year for her 2nd birthday its gonna be a Minnie Mouse Theme!:)and this time its really her choice!:) She's really a minnie mouse fanatic!:) I am incorporating polkadots and candyland party to a minnie mouse themed! It's a girly girly theme!:) Wieeeee! I am so excited! :)

Sofia's 2nd Birthday DIY party preps! :D

It's less than a month and it's my little girl 2nd birthday party! Excited and at the same time kinda sad haha bec she is growing too fast. sigh, how time flies talaga. oh well, i cant do anything about it :D

Initially we wanted to celebrate her 2nd birthday in manila but then after the discussion ( read here related blog ) we decided to celebrate her birthday here.and that means if we celebrate party here its gonna be more of DIY party which is more challenging and exciting :)

So last october, we went to see a venue. Ofcourse i wanted something different for my daughter's party. Usually parties here are only held in a fast food chain and a playhouse and they dont decorate. Or if we celebrate it in a hotel or restaurant for sure there will be a lot of rules and corkages .So i searched for a place that i can decorate and do everything i want inshort not strict.So we wanted to something a like a clubhouse :)

Actually when i saw the place in one of my friend in fb, i fell inlove with it instantly. with the help of my mareng eryne, she accompanied me and arman to the park island:) The clubhouse is located in an island! yes, an island!guests will have to take a 10 min ferry going to the island. :) Imagine the view? ahhh! perfect! or they can take bus but will take them longer travel time. When we got there, we had the chance to see the place and i must say its super super nice and perfect. it's an overlooking of the tsing ma bridge (one of the longest bridge in the world! ) But ofcourse its gonna be sooo cold! So be ready :P

So there,after the venue hunt. The next thing will be the caterer. Actually they have their own catering, but then since i wanted to have filipino foods and i wanted to get our own caterer. And bigla ko naisip my mom in law so when we went to manila last month,we told her our plans that sofia's birthday will be here and asked her if she can be our caterer. :D ofcourse she said yes! woohooo! atleast alam ko na masarap ang luto :D unlike if i get other catering :) But after finalizing our guests, i will invite some of my chinese officemates who have kids,so what i will do now is to order 3 menu from their in-house catering and 4 menu from my mom inlaw. :)

Bought 2 chafing dish by the way for the foods the will be cooked at home:) Oh di ba pwede na ako magcater hahaha btw, I still need 2 more :) ( LOL,sorry for the background :P )

I am still finalizing our menu but what i have in mind right now for the pinoy foods are chicken lollipop,morcon,spaghetti and ofcourse my mom in law's specialty,palabok! :D Yipeeeee! i am getting excited! till my next blog! :D promise to share with you our diy stuff and decoration! :D there's a lot more to come! :D

We had simple celebration at home. It was our first New Year in our "own" house :) I cooked and prepared everything. It was super tiring bec we went out pa that morning to buy some stuffs for sofia's birthday and i accompanied hubby to hair salon. But ofcourse,it's all worth it naman. The reason why i love to cook is my family. :)

Anyways, here whats i cooked and prepared! Oh yes, i cooked everything! :D

Sofia's 1st Magazine Appearance!

What a nice advance birthday gift! :D

Wieeee! I was surprised when one of my friend messaged me in fb. She was asking me if i know that my sofia is in smart parenting kiddie greets section. I didnt had idea at all talaga. But ofcourse when i submitted her picture, i am confident that she'll be chosen ( ofcourse, thats my daughter and im very proud of her :D )

So there,i immediately told everyone,i asked daddy if he can call up my mom in law to buy for us the magazine. But then since ofcourse she cant buy right away kasi busy sa business. then i tried my luck lang, i asked my brother if he can ask favor for me to his gf :) Luckily, She said yes! woooohooo!!! :D But ofcourse, bago ko pa makuha yung magazine mga 2-3 days pa. Eh di na ako makahintay. so i asked her if she can take pic of the magazine. And after a while, got her email na.. I'm such a happy and proud mom! :) It's not every kid will have the chance to be part of a well known magazine dba :) Even if its a small section.Atleast nakita sya sa magazine:)We are sooooooo proud of you anak :)

Christmas 2011!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! and it's my bebe's 2nd christmas! This year she really enjoyed the christmas.and she's learning to know the true meaning of christmas.kasi last year she had no idea and whatsoever what is happening eh. This year talaga bongga, she helped us to decorate the christmas tree. and she keeps on asking us to switch on the christmas lights! :) She even knows every ornaments in the christmas tree! :) and she's now friends with Santa Claus! :) She's always getting excited whenever she sees santa claus. :) Hopefully next year, she can write her wish na and put in the socks! :D Exciting! :)

Anyways, i was the one who cooked and prepared our noche buena, my mom didnt had the time to cook, coz they had to go to work pa in the morning. So i was assigned to cook :)

Here's what our simple handa :D Embutido ( my first time to make, and it was a success ) , my special menudo ( haha i just discovered my own secret recipe! ) , Baked tuna penne pasta , Christmas ham :) and an angry bird cake! :D

Gosh i cant believe that my baby princess is turning 2 soon. How time flies! I really never thought that this would be that fast. Swear! Parang panaginip lang.It's seems like only yesterday when i gave birth to her. and now my baby girl is turning 2 in less than 3 months time! Kaloka!

But this time, daddy and me decided to celebrate it in hong kong :) A simplier party :) Actually first plan was to celebrate in manila but then after the "heart-to-heart" talk.. we just decided to spend the supposedly budget for the party in manila into something else.. ( will share it soon, once it's finalized ) it's more practical and more worth it than a party :) That will be our gift to her,that she will surely treasure for the rest of her life :)

So now, It's gonna be a DIY party! meaning i have to do every single details all by myself! from smallest details to biggest details!:) but ofcourse with the help of hubby dear!:D Since kiddie party here are not "IN" they dont celebrate kid's party here like the one how we celebrate in manila.Even themed party, wala! that only means its gonna be a challenging preparations. But ofcourse, don't worry sweetie mommy and daddy will try our very very very best to give you one of the best party you will ever have! :D

Yiheeeeeee! I am so uber excited!Super! I need creativenessss!:) Labor of love is always the best!:) I'll try share everything how i prepare my daughter's DIY party :) ( if i have the time! ) Goodluck to me! :D

Playgroup Trial Class :)

Last saturday we attended a trial class for playgroup for Sofia. We want sofia kasi to join a playgroup every saturday because we want her meet other kids. Kids life here in hk is very different from philippines. Doon lalabas ka lang ng bahay may instant playmate na. Dito wala. Especially we now live in a bldg. Tapos we get to meet my friends and their kids pa once in awhile lang. So normally parents here are enrolling their kid to a playgroup. Yung iba nga daming activities eh na pinapajoin na ng parents at very young age. But at the moment we want lang only saturday class for Sofia. We just want her to meet other kids. :)

Actually this was her 2nd time already to attend a trial, the first one was Kindermusik last Aug but we didnt like it. I didnt like their program,45 mins of pure play time lang.So we decided not to enroll her.

After researching, I found this play group that met my standard, Small world International Playgroup. So i called them right away to ask if they have trial class. Luckily they have. So we were able to attend the class last sat. The place is really nice. :) The class will be only 1hr 30mins :)

At first sofia was shy, but then after few minutes,she's joining and participating na the activites with the kids :) We can see it from sofia that she is really enjoying so we decided to enroll her plus nagustuhan namin yung activities nila kasi not pure play lang, they have different kind of activities like painting,dancing,phonics,singing and even snack time. haha just like normal preschool :)she'll be starting on November every saturday :) We enrolled her to their Bumblee Bee PLUS phonics class :)btw,parents can join the class. :)

Sofia's 1st cable car experience at Ngong Ping 360! :)

Last week,Sep 13 was holiday ( Mid Autumn Festival ) here in hk so we decided to go to Ngong Ping ( a must try tourist spot here in hk! ) and since my grandmother and my tita are here and havent been there we decided to bring them there but ofcourse my lola couldnt join us bec. she cant walk alone.She's already using a wheelchair plus the cable car is too fast na we're afraid she cant catch the cable car.So we decided na lang that she'll with my mom and my dad. and the rest of us will go.Daddy bought the crystal cabin round trip. It wasnt our first time except for Sofia and my tita. I was so afraid for sofia haha! I was so scared baka malula sya or something. But i was so wrong.The baby had so much fun.She wasnt scared after all. She also tried to step on the crystal cabin. I was actually so scared for her,paranoid attacks haha! She screams "wow" everytime the cable car is going up and down. haha! She seems to get what is really happening inside the cable car. She keep telling us, " Ter ter " ( water ) she can see the sea view below since we got the crystal cabin nga :)

It wasnt my tita's first time at the Big Buddha, so we decided not to go up na. She just wanted to experience the cable car. So ayun we went out lang around the place. Sofia had so much fun! she kept running and running.ayaw mgpahawak! haha!

Baby pa lang si sofia we knew that she will be very madaldal.She will always talk in her own language when she was abt 5 mos.Plus her tongue na mahaba hahahaha! :) But I guess the secret is we keep talking to her as in. Everything that i do i would explain it to her eventhough i know di pa nya nun maiitindihan. and when she was a baby i always stare at her eyes while talking to her. So right now, she's super duper duper daldal! as in! parang machine gun talaga. haha!

Tapos eh ang daldal ko pa. hahaha! I would always read book to her. We're really blessed to have a daughter na ang dali makapick up. If you teach her a word especially kung concentrated yan, just say it for three times naku she would get it na. And i noticed that everytime we teach her she always looks in our mouth.siguro pinagaaralan nya talaga pano namin binibigkas. At first, binibilang namin how many word she can say. pero nung sabay sabay na nya ntutunan naku di na kame nagbilang kasi ang dami na talaga at kung isa isahin may parati kame nkakalimutan. haha! Some words that she knows, we dont teach her naririnig nya lang siguro sa amin :)

With Sofia kasi,we talk to her in straight languange. Baby talk is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. Share ko lang, when sofia was less than a month old we had a yaya in manila. Sofia was crying at that time. and the yaya was inside the room. Then she suddenly said. " Sofia,hungry na you?" omg nagpantig ako tenga ko! I know sofia that time di pa mrunong talaga makaintindi. pero miski na, pls lang ayaw ko ng jinejemon ang anak ko! Then i told my mom in law and my mom about that ayun pinagsabihan nila.

Right now, sofia can combine two words na, like " mommy cat " meaning she wants to see the cat, " daddy more " eto she would say this if she's watching in youtube tapos matatapos na yung pinapanood nya, daddy/mommy get when she wants us to get something and the list go on. Before i would always ask her,who is this? thats the time she will say daddy,mommy, papa,mama. pero ngyon if she's looking for us,wants attention and mawala kame sa sight nya, she would say na mommy or daddy. Napakasarap.Grabe super nakakaproud. Yung makita mo anak mo na lumalaki na ganon, lahat ng hirap at pagod bale wala. We're so blessed to have a daughter like you anak. and we are so thankful to God.

Trips to Ikea :)

I'm having so much fun buying our things!:) Definitely,this is one of the most exciting part of moving! :)

I love ikea eversince. It's always been one of my favorite hang-out whenever we go out :) Ikea is the best place when it comes to furnitures and "abubots" for your home :)You can find everythng and anything there. :) Must-have and nice-to-haves are all there:) Ikea will never fail you :) They have the most modern displays and furnitures :)

But since we're moving, almost everyday Hubby and me spent most of our Lunch Time at Ikea.Atleast 30mins of our lunchtime. Since our offices is just 5min away from each other so its easy lang for us but we need to have a quick lunch kasi we only both have 1 hr lunch break :)

Our Short Trip to ikea Last week. I bought a cute girly wall lamp for Sofia's room! :)I know she'll love it :)

Then last weekend, we went there with my mom and my baby girl at Ikea Shatin :) We bought kitchen stuff.. Nakakalula sa daming magaganda :) Atleast, i can say that we're atleast 20% done.I think i'm almost complete with my Kitchenware and utensils. I super love our plates,serving bowl,mixing bowl,saucer :)Basta when it comes to kitchen stuffs,its always my choice. unlike sa appliances. haha kelangan ng debate. hahaha! :)

Sofia is super aliw to this doggie stuff toy at ikea. Super ayaw bitawan as in. kahit maipit na yung face nya kakayakap sa dog, ayaw talaga. hahaha Sofia is like her dad eh, dog lover :)

Plus we have already bought Ricecooker and an iron at fortress naman.We started to buy small things first since we dont have the key yet.We will buy the big stuff and appliances once we get the keys this weekend :) So excited! :)

But hubby and me have already scouted the appliances that we want :) For the appliances naman, Fortress is the perfect place to buy :)

4 days to go! :) cant wait to see the result of our "creativeness!" hahaha! :D

March 18 2011, when my baby doll made unlimited steps :) She's not scared anymore. haha! Usually,2 steps lang kasi then magcrawl na. But that night,ang bilis talaga,unlimited steps na :D We were surprised talaga.Actually my mom called me, usually she's the first one to get home. May sinasabi cya sa phone pero hindi ko magets kasi i think she was surprised as well. Then when we got home, mama said nakakalakad na si sofia magisa at matagal. I was like hindi nga? then ayun, nagulat ako at super happy to see her walking going to dadi and mommy :D May shopping buddy na talaga ako :D

"Sofia the Explorer" at ToysRus. She's so ready now to explore the world by herself :)

And now,to this date,she's really walking fast na talaga :D Parang tumatakbo pa nga haha! GOODJOB Little Princess! :) We Love you sooooooo much! :)

Yey! Finally we found "The one!" :) We've been searching for a new flat for 3 weeks already.But none of them passed our taste :D But sa wakas,we found it last friday :) By taxi,it's just only 10mins away from our offices and by Bus, i think it'll only be 15-20 mins away :) Super nice di ba? :) Not to mention, grocery shops ( Park N'Shop & Wellcome ) are just located downstairs of the building :) Super convenient,Baba lang kame ng building mkkgrocery na kame :) Plus the malls are just few mins away :) So perfect! :) and take note, mareng Joyce's flat is just 10mins away :) Oh di ba? May Instant playmate na si Sofia :) and now Mareng Eryne is thinking also to move. Yipeee! Chikahan to death every weekend! Loves it! :)

Hindi na namin pinalagpas pa.We have already signed contract last Sunday and paid DP as well.We'll get the key on Apr. 8 and start to move in by Apr. 9 and Apr.15 we can officially we live there :)

But ofcourse It's not as big as my parents house and the area of the place is super different. Since my parents lives in a village and far from the city. and now, we will live in a flat and in the city :) But that's not important anyway, big or small as long as we're together and happy,that's the most important thing :)

Reasons why we are moving because...

#1 - We want more time with Sofia.She usually wakes up before 7am. So, I want to bath her before i go to work, i want to prepare bfast for her and eat together, i want to play with her first thing in the morning, and if possible eat with her during my lunch time. My parents house kasi is super super far from our offices. It's taking us forever ( OA! its 1.5hrs ) to go to work and going back home.

#2 - I want to buy things for the Kitchen!!! :) I am always dreaming to have collection of cooking wares My parents' house doesnt have enough space, eh gamit ni mama ang dami dami din. So now, i can collect my own cooking wares and utensils for "my oh-so-small-kitchen" . :) I'm also excited to buy matching plates,glass,etc etc,etc..

#3 - We want to have a room for Sofia. Just a Room. Because she will still sleep with us,I cant imagine myself sleeping without sofia at night. It's just that we want a room where she can put her all her toys and and where she can have her own play area :) So excited to decorate her room! :)

#4 - We want to buy new appliances and new furniture. We'll actually start now from scratch, since the only appliance that we have right now is the oven that hub's gave me! haha!

#5 - We want to decorate the flat! :) Hubby is so excited!

#6 - And Ofcourse we have our own family na,we should be living on our own.The feeling is like parang newly- weds kame tuloy. haha!

We'll just be renting a Van since we dont have much things yet. The only thing that we have right now is Sofia's Toys and her stuff. hahaha! So i guess it will not be so difficult to move in :)

But ofcourse,on the other side i'm feeling sad. I'm gonna miss my parents badly :( Parang feeling ko ngyon pa lang nagssink in sakin na may family na talaga ako. Oh well, this is life.. and i know how much they will miss Sofia. I can just imagine,everyweekend nasa bahay sila or viceversa. :)

So excited! :) 8 days to go! :) Once we're done cleaning and fixing the house,ill post the before and after picture :)

Spent our Saturday at shatin. We went to Snoopy's world and had lunch at iThai. It was actually Sofia's 3rd time at Snoopy's world but each time we go there, the happiness that brings to her is different kasi ofcourse as the time goes by,she a
ppreciate things more.:)

At iThai,we ordered the menu set lunch for 4. :) I wasnt able to take picture the rest of the food since im sure hungry na :D

Sofia's new found friend :D The other baby girl was so super aliw kay sofia. They kept touching each other. hehe

She was so happy to see Snoopy and friends again.Super happiness when she saw the characters. She kept screaming everytime she sees new character :)

After Snoopy, we went to Eugenue Club (Baby store) coz i wanted to buy feeding tools for Sofia. Here's what i bought Scissor (so its easier to cut her food ), Hello Kitty Bowl and Spoon ( i know she'll love it, and im right nung nakita pa lang nya super happy naman cya hehe ),Toodler Flatware travel set and Elmo Cups with Straws ( we're gonna start training her drinking in cups and also drinking in a straw :) )

(Look at the feet, her feet is always like that everytime she sits :) girl na girl :) )

Sunday is our Park Day. :) It was the first time that we brought along her princess car :) and obviously super enjoy sya :)

And as usual, had a great weekend with my babies! :)

We had 2 celebration for Sofia's 9th month. with friends and with family.

We celebrated it with friends at tai mei tuk. It was Sofia's first time at tai mei tuk :)

And ofcourse, we have to celebrate it with the family. We had simple celebration. It was also sofia's first halloween experience :) i dressed her up into a fairy princess :) It's just too bad no trick or treat here. boo!

Happy 8th months Sofia! :) You're growing too fast Anak! I Still can't believe till now that God gave us a beautiful daughter :) Everyday daddy and me still thank God for giving you to our life. :) Daddy and me will NEVER ever get tired of you eventhough you sometimes wake up in the middle of the night knowing that we have office the next day. Still we'll never ever get tired :) We'll do anything and everything for you sweetie :) The Happiness that you're giving us is really priceless.We Love you so much my little one :) We're so lucky to have you darling. :)

Since sofia's 8th month bday was a holiday here in hk,we decided to celebrated it with friends :) We celebrated it in one of my mama's colleague house at Tung Chung.

Sofia had sooo much fun. She forgot everything.hahaha! the hunger and the sleepyness.hehe It was her first time to swim in the pool :) I was quite worried because baka magkasipon or something since first time nga nya.Baka malamamigan. But then, Thank God, no colds and watsoever afterwards :) Ure such a strong girl sofia :) I'm planning to enroll her later in a swimming lesson :)

And ofcourse,i still bought cake and prepared food for my daugher at home. :)

Oh yes sofia's teeth are out! :) and take note.. Two teeth! haha Such a big baby girl already!We noticed it last week.When we discovered it we were all amaze.We kept touching it. haha! We didnt had any idea that she'll be having teeth soon not until we tried to touched her gums. She didnt show any signs at all. She didnt had fever nor any sleeping problem. Thank God for that! :) Some babies kasi gets fever or easily get irritated eh. Grabe,my baby is really growing so fast. We love you so much sofia jae!!!!!!

Sep 16 2010,i turned 26. It was best birthday in my entire life ( ofcourse except the day i was born.hehe ) It was the most memorable birthday i've ever had because of my daughter.It was my first birthday with her.

We had very simple celebration.Hubby and me had lunch date at ruby tuesday. I've been craving for Ruby Tuesday for long time ago already :)

That day he told me to go home first. And he's still doing alot of things in the offce.I felt sad in a way. because kung kelan birthday ko eh dun pa naging busy. But then, that was just his palusot pala. :) He surprise me with an ice cream cake and a birthday card with surprise msg inside - that i'll reveal later :)We didnt had the time to cook for my birthday celebration since it was weekday and all of us are working. So instead,saturday we had lunch at Ithai :)

I am so thankful to God for giving me this Life. Thank you God for giving me the most precious gift in my life -- my daughter. Thank you God for giving me a Beautiful Family. Thank you for making all my dreams come true. I really couldnt ask for more. I have the ever supportive loving parents and brothers,in-laws who are so kind to me and welcome me to their family with open arms, a wonderful loving husband and ofcourse a healthy adorable healthy baby girl :) She is the most precious gift,greatest,priceless gift i've ever received in my entire life. ofcourse also my hubby, i am just so thankful everyday for having arman in my life. :) For treating me everyday like a queen... You guys made my life complete. :) Thank you for making my life meaningful.....

Gosh, i cant believe! Time flies so fast! My baby girl just turned 7 months last wednesday. and only less than 5 months to go till her First Big Day!:) We already booked all major suppliers!!! :) Soo happy that we got our dream suppliers for sofia's party! :) thats why early preps is always an advantage. And maybe daddy arman will go to the phils for the food tasting! Yeyyy!:) I cant come coz i dont want to leave my sofia.I actually started to research suppliers when she was still in my womb. haha! Look,i am that excited! :) And thank God they are all still available. :) There's one supplier ( photographer) she only accept booking 6 months before the event,so Jul 1 12am. I emailed her. hehe talagang inaabangan ko :))

Wieeee I super cant wait! :) I am so excited for the Big Party. Preparing her birthday is challenging for me, because of the limited time plus planning overseas is not easy ( i was an overseas bride too ).I only got time to prepare,research and email suppliers during daytime when im in the office and sometimes, at night once she is sleeping already. Not unlike during my wedding preps, i got alot of time. Plus we did not avail party packages coz i want everything to be my personal choice. I never really like packages eversince. It was like actually similar to our wedding. we just got the venue and the rest different suppliers :)

But ofcourse,for you my little princess daddy and mommy will do anything and everything just to give u the best! :)

Me and daddy are just so crazy about our little girl! :) From Day 1 til now,she really amazed us in many different ways. :)

• At 3 months,she knows how to roll over.
• At 4 months, she wants to stand up with her strong legs! :)
• She talks a lot. ahmm.. agi.. mamamamama... :)
• She is super harot, she like being kissed especially her nose,kili kili and singit. :P
• She knows her name already. when you call her she will turns her head to your direction.
• She just love looking at the mirror,except the one outside our house. hahaha!
• She knows mama's puppy stuff toy,whenever we asked her where is pinky. she will look at the puppy stuff toy :)
• She knows how to pull hair! haha
• She knows the word, "buh bye" whenever i said buh bye,she will turns her head fast and make serious face.haha :))
• She loves to eat marie and grapes! :D
• She like to go out. we'll see her na lang bagsak at tulog na :P
• She sings ABC with me :)
• She counts with me also:) too cute when u see her counting and singing with me.:)
• She likes to stare at people.she is studying every detail of the face haha
• She knows how to make pacute and awa face. :)

• She loves to dressed up :D

• She is now learning how to walk. she knows to make a step already:)

These are the top 3 places we'd love to bring Sofia soon.hopefully next year! :) I always dream of travelling but this time Im much more excited because of my little one. and we're complete. Daddy + Mommy = Sofia.Perfect! :) I'm so excited to let her see the world! :)

1. Boracay - Paradise Island. This will be her first beach experience! Me and arman are always imagining sofia playing with the white sand of bora using her sand bucket beach toys and watch sunset together.. ahhh..I just cant wait!!! :D

2. Disneyland Tokyo - Arman and me were supposed to visit Japan May last year but because of the swine flu outbreak, we need to cancel it. everything happens for a reason. and the reason is Sofia :D Because He wants us to go there with our little princess :)

3. Disneyworld Florida,USA - The Happiest place on earth and The biggest disneyland in the world :) This is our greatest grand dream for our little princess, baby Sofia:)

6th month vaccine + 1st pizza experience :)

Yesterday was sofia's vaccine day. and as usual, i was nervous and scared. I dont want to see her in pain but ofcourse i have no choice because its for her own good. She had her 6in1 and last dose of pheunomoccal and rotateq. Her next vaccine schedule would be 1 yr old na. I'm also scared coz she might get fever because of her vaccine,but Thank God till now hindi sya nagkafever. what a strong baby girl! :D

She had also her monthly check up. Thank God she's still a healthy baby girl :) Her pedia said sofia is so clever and advanced, she knows already and aware of what is happening around her. Actually she can recognize her doctor already, once she sees her pedia she will cry na. hahaha ntrauma from our last visit,when she had her 4th month vaccine. She also told us, sofia knows how to manipulate mommy and daddy already.hehe what a smart girl! :D btw, she gained alot and grew alot taller :)

Then after her check up we went to Sha Tin, to check out if daddy's new toy has already arrived. but unluckily,not yet pa. So there, we went to Sha Tin park instead :)

After that, we had dinner at Pizza Pizza! If youre looking for affordable place to eat but with great value for money. Pizza pizza is right for u :)Their pizza and the food is so delicious :) plus their service and staff are so nice! :)

My brother was his first time to eat there and he liked it very much. and as well as my baby girl. :D Sofia's first taste of pizza! :D i let her tasted it and she liked it soo much. with matching hinahabol ang pizza! :)

Got home around 9:30pm. Super tired but we had lot of fun :) Till next weekend :)

Woahhh.. you're growing too fast my little one! Ure already halfway. I just cant believe that ure growing fast each day. Those tiny little hands and feet are growing fast as well. I just love to kiss those everyday! :)

WELCOME TO THE CHRISTIAN WORLD MY LITTLE ANGEL! :D

Last saturday was our daughter sofia jae's baptismal. The mass was held at Rosary Church and Reception at Mariner's Club. It was one of the big and most important event in our daughter's life. I can really feel that im a mom.The feeling is so different :)I Love the feeling! :)

It was rainy week but thank God,mr. sunshine showed up that day. Woke up around 6am to prepare our things, gosh it seemed that we're going out of town. Sofia's things are too many. and plus we need to go first to the hotel where my inlaws were staying. Daddy arman is so excited to bring our daughter there :) One proud daddy :) Got there around 9:30, sofia was too sleepy. but still she managed to entertain her grandpa and grandma and ninang may :)

It was their first meeting after 4 months. They really missed their apo. The smile on their face is really priceless :) Sofia is first apo on both side :D

btw ,These are her outfit for the day :) The pink princess gown is for the reception which was customize for her. the second one,we just bought it,its for the church outfit. third one, the ballerina outfit for the after party getup :) It's really fun having a baby girl! :)

Oh, this is our gift to our baby girl :)

Going back, left the hotel around 10:45am. We're just ontime for our 11:00am schedule. The baptismal mass started around 11:10am coz we waited pa for sofia's guest. Thank God the priest is so kind :) around 11:30am, my baby girl was officially a catholic :)

I just so love the church. Simple but Elegant :)

After the mass,we went back to the hotel, to change sofia's outfit. We arrived at Mariner's Club at around 1:30pm. Sofia's guest were all there :) When we got there sofia is having her power nap :)

I had a hard time looking for reception venue here. when i first inquired mariner's they were not available anymore.but good thing, 3 weeks before the event, i called them again, and thank God they're available :) Food is yummy plus too many servings :)Staffs were also attentive :) i'm giving them 5/5!:)

Thank God for having a very creative husband :) and thanks also to my creativity haha :D DIY Centerpiece, Banner, Thank You Tag :) All labor of love to our daughter. :)

Everyone loves sofia! :) So happy my baby is not "nangingilala " was actually nervous baka mashock sya with the too many people around but thank God she was not,but instead she keep smiling at them,carrying her from one person to another,projecting and posing at the camera. and Thats my girl!!! :) im a proud mommy :)

The Party ended at around 5:00pm. Me and daddy arman were really dead tired especially our baby girl.She did not get proper sleep. But still she keep smiling :) Every minute of the party was really worth it!:) We had so much fun. I just cant wait now for her next party :D I'm so excited!!! :)

Thanks Guys for coming to my baby's 1st big event party .It really means alot to us and ofcourse to my baby girl :) Thank you so much for all the gifts! Sofia loved them all :) Hope to see you all again soon! :) Love Lots, sofia j. :)

Wiee cant wait for saturday. Finally my baby girl will be baptised na. :D Thank God! we had hard time looking for a church, they had their own different requirements. like sponsors should attend 3 consecutive seminars pa,like duh? panu yung nasa pinas? Sabi papuntahin ko daw. ok ka lang? pahingi pamasahe hahaha then other one,we have to provide sponsors' confirmation certificate. and all sponsors' should be catholic. kainis di ba? Oh well, enough of that. Past is past. We're just so glad that we found the one. the priest and their church staffs are all nice and the church is so perfect, they have an altar for the baptismal ( some churches here doesnt have ). So I know its meant for us :)

I'm super duper excited na :) we'll just have a very simple celebration. only close friends,relatives and family will be there.Just a small gathering :) Parents-in law and sis in law will be arriving here on friday and my brother John will be arriving tomorrow.too bad mark will not join us, coz he has some red cross thing. Its actually so hard to organize party here eh,di kasi uso party sa instik ( KJ!!!!haha ) So hard to find suppliers.anyway, that's not important naman,what is important is my baby sofia jae will be now be part of the christian world :)

Just too bad some ninangs/ninongs of my little angel will not be here. We'll just see guys next year,ok?:D

We had great bonding moment yesterday. sofia,me and daddy :) We made a homemade vanilla cupcake :)It was my first attempt in baking. finally i had the time to bake and so happy turned out to be succesful! :)So happy i was able to make cream frosting for the toppings too :) ( may not be perfect there's still a room for improvement though) I really really really want to learn to bake cakes and cupcakes matagal na, because for my baby girl. I know and im sure she'll like it :) and soon she'll be making gulo na din while im baking :) Surely, It will be a great bonding moment for us:)

Baking cupcakes is kinda easy.Its you just have to invest on the baking equipments and ingredients :) and i was super happy last last week when i discovered a bake shop where they sell baking stuffs and ingredients near our place! so no need for me now to travel to central just to buy the ingredients. really happy now i can bake whenever i want to! :D

Thanks soo much hubby for being so supportive in everything.You never failed me :) Oh remember the big box that i blogged last May,It was a Convectional Oven :) a dream come true hehe.My first appliance gift from my hubby dear :) hubby bought me an oven coz he knows how much i wanted to learn to bake. plus its many many function. i was already able to baked and cooked grilled chicken,baked liempo,baked eggplant with mozarella cheese,banguette ala sheryl style :) and of course baked macaroni and lasagna! :)

Oh the little girl fell asleep while waiting. I've always wanted to bake for my little princess :)This is for you my little one. I've made these cupcakes especially for you. You're my inspiration in everything sweetie! :) Loveeee youuuuuuu soooooooooooooooo much!!!! :)

First Step: Booked the Venue! :)

Yahoooooooooo!:) Finally we got our dream venue for my little princess 1st birthday party! :) Actually i tried my very best to forget about that venue coz i know its not practical but then my heart keeps coming back to that. I tried to look for other possible venues but still I really cant forget my first choice! We Were actually booked na on our second choice last minute changes,i cancelled it :) First love really never dies haha and ofcourse i really want that venue for my little girl. we want everything the best for her :) Good thing the venue is still available,it only means that its really for our little one :) So just this morning,we paid downpayment already! yipeee! thanks to my brother for helping us out to book the venue :)

I super cant wait for my daughter's 1st birthday party! Grabe I'm back to planning mode again. i cant believe :) but I know this is gonna be more exciting!:) Eversince i was a kid i always dream of having a grand party for a girl.finally,it will come true and its for our very own little princess :) Thank God talaga He gave us a baby girl... :) She was actually still inside my womb when i started to plan her birthday party :) hehehe.

We had simple dinner celebration of my dad's bday and my baby girl 4th month. Mama prepared and cooked Lumpia rolls and me, chicken wings with my own recipe plus baked mac :) It was my first time to make a baked mac. and thank God,it was successful! They loved it! :) happy happy! :)Hubby is so proud of me. hahahaha! He even requested for it the next day :) Cant wait it to share it my friends too! :)We Love you soooooooooo much baby girl! happy 4th month! We are so proud of you! :D

Finally she did it! she has been trying to roll over at 3 months and finally today she was able to make it perfect!!! :D We were really surprised when we saw it,ang bilis ng pangyayari :D This baby loves to discover things at young age :) GOODJOB MY BABY! :) Daddy and Mommy are so proud of you. More practice baby girl! :)

Exactly one year ago when i found out that i was pregnant. It was the best moment of my life. Me and arman were just talking about it yesterday. We cant still forget the feeling and the joy that brought to us. It was indeed one of the most wonderful feeling that we've ever felt. I never thought that i'd get pregnant easily because of my past operation last 3 years ago. I know some people are thinking also that i will have a hard time conceiving a baby. But God is sooooo goood, God didnt let us wait for long time. He didnt let us down. He answered our prayer. We've been praying for it everyday :)

God knows how much i wanted a baby girl. But i didnt ask God for it coz i know he has given me more than enough. But again God is so good,He gave you to us. I was so surprise when we found out the gender of our baby,I really couldnt belive,he gave a baby girl to me.. and that's the reason why i kept asking my OB everycheck up till the very end of my pregnancy if it's really a Girl:) No words can describe how happy we are to have you in our life. I couldnt stop thanking Him for all the blessings He's showering to us.

And now Baby, you're in our hands. We will take good care of u,guide u in every step of the way,protect you from anybody else. As i always tell you Daddy and Mommy will give you everything. You'll always be the sweetest gift from God. You'll always be our baby even if you grow old. You'll always be our lucky charm, a little angel that sent from above.Dad and Mom love u soooooo much and will always love u forever and ever. You will always be our little princess. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH ANAK. Thank you so much for making us complete and for holding into mommy's tummy for 9 months. I love you so much :)

Baptismal Preps: The Church! :D

Yey! The search is over! We really had a hard time looking for a church for sofia's baptismal. Each church here has different requirements!like we have to submit confirmation certificates of each godparents, we have to attend muna for atleast 2 months in their church, and the other church, the earliest baptism will be on september or even worst december pa.

But finally,we saw the ONE :) The Rosary Church. It is located in Tsim Tsa Tsui, the major tourist place here in HK. When i first inquired thru phone i was able to talk to their parish priest. and he is super nice. gaan agad ng feeling ko sa kanya. He'd entertain whatever question i asked. So yesterday,finally i met him personally, true enough he is super duper duper nice. cool priest talaga! we went to there to submit all our requirements birth cert,marriage cert,our baptismal cert. So after that we attended the mass,me and arman did not get bored!I love his homily.the mass is so lively.He even jammed with the church band after the mass. We really love him :) He is i think american or irish :) It was our fist time to attend there,and we didnt got dissappointed. plus I like the inside look of the church :) Just too bad We werent to able to bring sofia with us because it was raining yesterday.

So now,i can breathe and start with the preps :) Happy happpy! :D Godparents to be post soon! :D

My first year to celebrate mother's day. We celebrated with a simple lunch together with my mama and papa because baby Sofia cant stay up late outside so we decided to have lunch instead. But hubby promised me that we will have another celebration. We had our lunch buffet at Lok Kwok Hotel in Wan Chai near Immigration Department. The food and the service are good. plus their ice cream is hagen dazz.Love it! Had a plate of sushi. Thats what i really miss eating in a buffet, for 9 months i didnt eat sushi because it's really really no no to preggers. because its raw. anyways,we finished eating lunch around 3pm na then after we went to Festival Walk to buy clothes and stuffs for our little girl (thats my weakness now, cant control myself in buying sofia's clothes and things. )

Btw, got a sweet gift from my hubby... my first ever signatured bag and wallet. hahaha!Super thanks so much hunny! :D ( u still owe me one.hehe! )

But ofcourse,nothing could ever ever replace this Gift...The Greatest Gift of all :)

I still cant believe up to now i am a mom. I still cant believe i am capable of carrying a baby inside my womb for 9 months. I am always so thankful to God for this wonderful gift and blessing. The best blessing and gift ever! I am also so happy of having a wonderful husband who is always there for me.A very supportive,loving,caring and responsible husband and daddy. We are so happy to have you. and of course our little one,i am so proud and happy to have you baby. You are our everything baby.Without u guys my life will be so boring. You gave me a colorful and meaningful life. You really completed :)

And ofcourse,I would be nothing without them..Thanks to my mama,papa for giving us wonderful life. I am so thankful that God gave you to us. We're so lucky to have parents like you. Thanks for all the lessons u've taught us.I will treasure that forever. I know now the feeling of being a parent. Thanks for molding us to a better person. I love you so much Papa & Mama. Sofia's May check up + Simply Thai Dinner :)

Yesterday we went to Sofia's pedia for her regular monthly check-up. Thank God all is well with her. Her pedia told us that her development is very good and advanced. We told her that she knows how to hold her bottle. She even saw that sofia is trying to roll over(will post the vid later ),which is supposed to be at 4 months pa,but she's only 3.5 months. She started doing it last week actually, and each day her tries is getting stronger. She also knows how to refuse her milk if she's full,which again supposed to be at 4th month! :) Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you,our little princess! :D

Then after the check up, went to New Town Plaza,Shatin to meet my parents and bro. Then we had our dinner at Simply Thai, again they never failed us. They are simply the best! Love their stir-fry crab in yellow curry sauce,Salt and pepper to-fu, char-grilled satay plus mama's fave morning glory stir-fried in garlic ! :)
We're really super happy about Sofia's development and health.Thank You Lord! :) Love you soooo much baby pia. aamwahmwah!

Milestone: Hold the bottle

My Baby Sofia knows how to hold her bottle since last week! :) She can also do it on her own but of course not for a very long time. We were surprised when we saw hold her holding her bottle.We didnt even taught her.And if she's full already she will really remove the bottle using her own hands! ahahaha! I am sooooo proud of my baby. She's doing a lot of things that a 3 month old baby usually can't do :) She really surprises and amaze us alot! :) her neck is really stable now,she doesnt want to lean anymore.she will really hold her head up.

Everytime i saw her doing new things, i cheer her up and encouraged her. We never failed to appreciate every little things she does :) and i think that's the most important one :)

Go Baby Pia! Ur dada and mom are so proud of you! Love u super!!!aamwahmwah!

Happy 3rd month baby princess! :D

Last saturday,we celebrated sofia's 3rd month.( wow,my baby girl is already 3months old! )I really wanted to have small celebration everymonth, to thank God for giving us a precious, wonderful,healthy daughter :)
Mom cooked some foods. Arroz valenciana,fried tilapia,menudo plus pansit that we just ordered from a filipino store :)

sofia's milestone: She can now sit! she can hold up her neck and head all by herself without any support! We kept on telling her baby ure still too young to do that but then, she really keeps on doing it.hahaha with matching the effort sound ( hope u get it. hehe ) This baby wants to discover alot of things now!:)

Love you sooooooooooo much baby. thank you so much for making us happier and made our life more meaningful :) Happy 3rd month baby! wish u good health always! :D

Since mother's day is coming up ( wah,cant believe i'm celebrating mother's day already! ), hubby has been asking me what i want. ( yahooo additional event for me so that means additional gift! hahaha and vice versa to him hehehe) So since my papa made a site just for sofia, a live web streaming from our house,where i can watch my baby girl 24/7( even if im here in the office or anywhere ) so i decided to have a new phone :) he doesnt want me to subscribe the 3gs to my old phone. bulok daw and sasayangin ko lang daw. hahaha true enough , the screen is tooooo small. and di talaga cya pwede for browsing :(

So here are the candidates :)

I'm torn between those two. Both of them are good.Both of them have the qualities/requirements i need. The other one is a google phone from Nexus One HTC,its kinda new and gaining popularity. and they say its has more application than iphone 3gs. But ofcourse iphone is still iphone. i'm used to its applications. Their prices is just the same. wah cant choose. tell u next week. :D

Sofia's First Pedia visit in HK! :)

Last saturday was Sofia's first pedia visit in hk. It was our first time to meet that pedia dr. she was recommended by my friend. we got there earlier than our appoinment so we have to wait for about 15mins. Nurses were very nice, they were really accomodating, i kept asking her alot of questions and even ask her to give me the brands and the manufacturers of the vaccines. ( yeah, im really a mom now. hehe ) so will have our reference in the future. Finally it was our turn na, we've finally met the dr. She is nice and very friendly plus she knows how to speak good very english. so that a plus factor to us. I think she reached my standard. haha She kept talking to sofia. she said that sofia's development is very good because sofia kept staring at her while talking and sofia even smiled at her. She said it seems that sofia really wants to talk.she did alot of "coo-ing" sounds :) she said sofia has a very good eye contact :) she also said that sofia wants everything thing to be fast.and she is so korek! hahaha coz she saw her feeding, parang mauubusan. haha!

Actually that day was her immunization day. The 5in1 vaccine( which includes DTaCP/DTwcP, IPV/OPV, Hib) pnuemocaccal ( to prevent pnuemonia ) and rotateq ( oral intake ; helps prevent rotavirus gastroenteritis ) That was day that i am worried about.i cant stand to see her in pain. and im afraid that she might get fever since her vaccines this month is stronger than her 1st month :( i even dreamt about it. arman said i kept saying BCG, Hepa while i am asleep. haha you see, i am that worried.

But,on that day,sofia didnt cry as much as i expected. First shot,no reaction at all. Second shot, she only cried for awhile. i even asked arman to hold her. my heart is really breaking whenever i see her in pain. I asked the dr if she will get fever or atleast sinat. she said there's a chance. 1-2 days after the vaccines. Then i became worried again. but till today, 3 days after she has no fever or sinat at all. Thank God!!! :) Her next schedule of vaccination is on jun na. her 4th month :) btw,she gained alot and grew taller! :) happy happy! :)

I know this a super late post, my baby girl is now 2.5 months already. But anyway, ill still share with you our little princess birth story :)

Feb 01 2010 - That was just my regular check up.Feb 06 was actually my due date based in my LMP. I didnt know that would be THE DAY.No signs at all. It was around 4pm when we arrived at St Lukes the fort. and while waiting for my turn i saw ina raymundo, she's so damn pretty plus sexy momma! wish to be like her in future.lol :) anyway going back, when it was my turn na, OB said my amniotic fluid is below normal range,it was only 6.5. I was like panu po yun,anong gagawin natin,she told me that i have to give birth asap or else baby can possibly eat her pupu and that is so dangerous. I was like "hala di pa po ako ready,i was really scared haha you know the normal feeling of the first timer hehe but ofcourse i want to see my baby soon and i wanted her to be healthy ofcourse. Then she gave me 2 options, Induced Labor or CS. actually what we, us and OB wanted is to have normal delivery,but then few weeks before my due date she told me that chances of giving birth in normal procedure is very low since my cervix is like pangbata daw, not pang adult haha plus my baby is really big for me.. but still she said we will try. but then since aminiotic fluid nga is not normal na she gave us options. Induced Labor will take up until max 18hrs and if the labor fails pa,we will end up CS din. While CS, CS agad no labor pains etc and much easier to delivery the baby. So when we discussed it to our parents,take note both our parents were there,always there during every check up. haha! super natutuwa si OB samin, kasi they are always there.Para daw isang buong barangay kame parati haha Ayun when we discussed it to them they told me to have CS na kasi papahirapan ko lang daw sarili ko kung magfafail naman din ako sa induced labor. since my case pa is i have small cervix malabong malabo na magnormal ako. Ayun so wen we finally decided to have CS delivery, OB said na we have to admit na and scheduled to deliver 9pm.i was like panicking,hala panu yun di pa ako nakakain and even drink water( but she said thats good thing kasi if CS no water and food intake for 6 hrs), we didnt bring our baby stuffs yet. so many things ran through my mind but one thing is for sure i want to see my baby sooon!

and so they brought me to NST room around 5pm,it is where they do the non stress test for the baby and injected me dextrose na since no food and water intake na from that moment. and good thing even my aminiotic fluid is not normal na, baby still doing good inside me. normal heartbeat pa din :) Arman is in panic mode na, he instructed his parents to go home na and bring our things to hospital. plus he need to arrange na our hospital room plus ofcourse he needs to be my side every moment,ayaw ko paiwan talaga haha. They were monitoring me for 1.5 hrs.My Anesthesiologist also visited me,telling me what they will do and what kind of anesthesia they will inject. I told him na pls po wag nyo ako papatulugin.hahaha and he said cge basta calm ka lang and relax ka. Some patient kasi are hysterical so they end up sedating the patient.

So around 7:30pm, they told me that they will bring me to the delivery room, for the preparation. Arman were there na, we were really excited and nervous at the same time.

Around 8:30 My anes arrived, he said we will start at 9pm something since we're waiting pa for my OB. Then 9pm came, they brought me na to the delivery room. I was like super duper nervous talaga. I was really feeling very cold. i even asked them to can u pls switched on the aircon. haha but ofcourse di pwede. :P So they asked me to bend like a shrimp for the spinal injection. My OB was really holding my hand ( i super love my OB for always being there by my side ) and arman was standing behind. they were entertaining me.to distract. haha Just after a few seconds my half body was going numb.i really couldnt feel anything. about 9:45 something they started the procedure.

i was really holding arman's hand. i was really talkative that time.i kept talking and talking asking alot of things hahaha but then they asked me not to talk alot baka daw magkakabag ako. i kept asking my anes my vital signs. becoz i really dont want to sleep. haha he said nothing to worry,its all normal. so what i need to do now is to continue behaving.

Suddenly, i heard my doctors said, arman ready ka na. then, it was it. 10:21pm The moment that we were waiting for. The cry that i wanted to hear for 9 months. The best cry ever. It was the best moment of my life. Our little angel was born. I just couldnt believe she's now here.

It was really priceless moment. our answered prayer :)

I AM NOW COMPLETE. WE ARE COMPLETE :)

They immediately put our baby on my breast. I kept looking at her,i really cant take my eyes off her. wanted to check everything if she has 10 fingers,2 hands,etc. and thank God she is complete :) i dont care now what they are doing down there. Her pedia said she is very good in sucking. she knows how to sucks. hehe coz some babies daw nahihirapan magsuck but sofia is doing very good.

Then my ob told me during that time, "she you did a very good decision" coz she already pupu inside but since we decided to CS and give birth on that day,hindi nya nakain pupu nya. she is very healthy.we SAVED her! THANK GOD!!!

It was 3 am when we were brought to our room. All were surprised becoz sofia is with me. They let us roomed-in her immediately since she is healthy and her APGAR score is 9/9 ( APGAR = Appearance, Pulse, Grimace, Activity, Reflexes). She got the perfect score! :)

Oh Yes?! ahaha! :) Yesterday we had our weekly check up and OB said i can give birth anyday & anytime this week.yay! I just need to walk and walk. But for the meantime no walking muna still waiting for hubby to arrive. hehe We are so excited finally after 9 mos of waiting(time flies so fast! ), we will see and hold our princess sofia!But at the same time nervous ofcourse, since this will be my first time. Everything will be new to me. I dont know which is false and true labor. Wieee! I'm now stress free ( til march only.haha! ) Today is my last day at work The day that ive been waiting for.hahaha! Since i still have remaining annual leave left for 2009,i'll use it from Dec 24 - Jan 4 :) so officially my maternity leave will start on Jan 5 pa. I just cant believe time really flies so fast! Just few weeks from now, we'll be seeing our princess! :) But For now, i just have to sit back,relax,and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy! :)

Shopping for our own baby was one of the my most awaited moment. So as soon as we found baby's gender we started buying our baby's things. Though it was kinda late na, because wen we found out summer season is almost over, so only few summer clothes were available. We really really had sooo much fun talaga shopping things for our baby.So tempting talaga! :) Its really really nice pa to shop for baby girl.daming choices. kaloka! haha :) Hindi talaga pwedeng hindi kame dumaan sa baby shops :) Nakakalimutan ko na bumili para sa sarili ko.haha!

One of our must have since we will be travelling. It can be used from newborn up to 1 yr old.
It is a 4-way carrier. Cradling position for newborn, Baby can lie down with head and back
support. Face-in & out position for 3 mos. and back carrying for 6 mos to 1 yr.

2. Fisher Price Newborn-to-Toddler Portable Rocker

One of my nice to have. Actually i plan to buy this kind later pa,but when i saw this naconvinced na ako to buy since it can be use for newborn. But unluckily, they dont have the pink color or even yellow color :( We went around to different babies'r us,mothercare and eugene club shops but still only one color available. So We decided to buy it,hubby said the color its not important daw. Hindi pa daw alam ni baby yun.hehe he said put alot of girly stuffs nlng daw. :) I think for now this will be very very useful since this can be use from newborn to toddler plus its portable. :)

3. Essential Things for our princess ( Thermos,Thermometer, baby wipes, cotton balls, cotton buds,Teether, Powder Milk container,Pacifier and Rattle)

Still not complete. But only few things left to buy :)

4. Tommee tippee Electronic Sterilizer & newborn bottles - All BPA Free :) A gift from mom's officemate. The bottles are for newborn pa lang. we will buy nlng later since newborn pa lang naman ang kelangan :)

5. New Born Baby Clothes ( Bibs, Socks, Tie sides, Bodysuits ( short and longsleeves), Burpad, Receiving Blanket, Mittens,Flannel,Bathrobe )

I think we're done buying her newborn clothes and I think we have enough :) Her lolas are super excited to buy her things :)) At mukhang every hour magffashion show si baby. hehehe :))

6. 3-6 Months clothes and shoes.As of the moment,these are the only clothes we got for our princess. since wala pa kme mabili dito ng summer clothes. Super nakakaliw mamili :)

Hay super sarap mamili :) From time to time i always check her clothes. ang ccute! ang liliit. super aliw! :)Cant wait to see her wearing all of these clothes :) cantt wait to hold our little darling! :)

So happy to see our little princess once again. We had check up yesterday and thank God it turned out to be ok. my placenta is posterior high and baby is in right positioning, her head is towards to my V. but still can change to breech again. ( i hope not baby...hope u'll stay that way til i give birth ) The OB here asked me if i wanted to see the gender. So ofcourse i said yes.I pretended that i didnt know pa :P hahaha!Arman was laughing at me. hehe Ang kulit ko daw :P While doing the tummy scan, i was quite nervous. and He said that we're having a girl :D He showed again baby's vagina. how cute! hehe and said we can now start preparing and buying things for her. We've bought alot of things now. But still, I cant help myself not to look and buy things for her! :)

I just cant believe it's december na, im on my 30th week! so so fast! We're really really getting excited! We cant wait to see our very own princess!:) Time flies so fast! :D Still ofcourse hoping and praying that our little one will stay healthy:)

Wow, i cant believe we're on our way to 28th week! That means only 2 months to go. and 9 weeks til i reach my full term.and Soon ill start my Maternity leave! wieeeee!:) That fast! We cant wait to see our little one!We are so excited!!! :) She is really moving alot. and her movements is now different i mean parang umaalon and may part na naninigas na sa tummy ko everytime she's moving. We're so amazed hehe. A Wonderful feeling! :) But now im starting to feel uncomfy in my ribs.they say its because she's really getting bigger and her room is getting masikip na.So what i do is stand up and walk. But still nothing beats the feeling having our princess inside me. :) So all the pain/changes im feeling right now is really worth it! :D
We've already started to buy her things. and we had sooooo much fun! super duper enjoy talaga! We still have many things to buy, we're not complete yet. I just cant wait for the weekend! :)

Oh,Tomorrow will be my OGTT(Oral Glucose Tolerance Test). This is done to check pregnant women for gestational diabetes. When done for this purpose, the test is called a glucose challenge screening test, and it is usually done during the 24th to the 28th week of pregnancy.
A lot of my friends said that sobrang hindi masarap & nakakasuka! They will ask us to drink one cup of glucose.ewww! naiisp ko pa lang nasusuka na ako.After drinking pa, 2 hrs pa bago nila itake ang blood test. goodluck to me! I just hope for a negative result. Hope ill not be a candidate for gestational diabetes! coz lately i've been really eating alot of sweets! Wish me luck! :)

Last weekend, we went out again for a window shopping for our baby. We had so much fun! Di pwedeng di namin papasukan each store. hehe Arman kept telling me, eto bagay kay baby. haha I told him oh di ba parang barbie doll talaga pag girl. There are just so many things i wanted to buy for our little princess.we're planning to buy her things end of this month.wahhhhh! caaaant wait!:) Parang kelan lang sakin lang pinangsshopping ko,but this is gonna be more exciting, may dadamitan na ako. hahaha

Our baby is really kicking and moving alot these days.The feeling is really so amazing and wonderful,truly God's miracle. I always look forward to that feeling every single moment. She's been really very active.Before i used to feel her movements during night time when i'm about to sleep but now even in daytime, during office hours she keeps moving and moving. :D She would just kick me if she doesnt want my position. hehe and just last week daddy started to feel her movements. He's sooo aliw :) We can see my tummy moving. how cute talaga! I'll be having my check up few weeks from now,i just hope and pray that our bulilit is ok and healthy.

Last weekend got an email from my OB, and she said im UTI Free! yey!!!! :) so happy! That was my first time to took that kind of test during my pregnancy. Preggers are really prone to UTI. I just hope for a negative result again next time.

We cant wait to see u baby. The whole fam is so excited to see u. We just hope and pray you will forever stay healthy.

Btw, happy 8th month my hunny! 4 months to go til we hit our 1 year and 4 mos to go til we hold you in our arms baby! Love u so much both!!!! :D Thank God for all the blessings :)

Wieee!!! Just had my check up and confirmed we're having a BABY GIRL! :) Sooooooo happy! :)I can't believe we're having our own little princess soon :D Can't wait. My feeling is correct though i dont want to assume kasi mahirap cympre umasa.hehehe :)

Side kwento: Had my check up yesterday, i was really nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous bec ofcourse we'll know the condition of our baby and excited bec we'll know the gender of our baby bec as by this time OB should know na talaga the gender as i am already on my 21st week. But glad to know that baby is doin good again inside my tummy. Most of her organs are developed and OB said she's major ok ( thank God!!!:) ) I am also so thankful baby was so cooperative yesterday. Her dad kept saying before our check up " Roll baby,roll. hahaha" kasi nga baka di magpakita. Now i know thats why OB in hk were having dificulty to check her genital. coz they said if its a boy its early to detect.At first,OB said yesterday, she was like 90% sure lang, but then after doing some more scan, she said " she, eto sure na sure na baby girl na talaga. 100% sure na." She showed us her vagina.haha! She was telling me also, she also had the feeling i'm havin a girl,the way i looked daw is so different than having a baby boy *blush* haha!The movements i'm feeling right now is our baby talaga. While doing the scan, she kept moving and moving and kept punching my lower pusod. hahaha! I wanted na sana to have 4d scan but then my OB told us its still to early pa,we'll wait pa til my 28th week that will be the best time to see her features.So instead i had 3D scan. We can see her eyes but still close,nose,chin,ears,cheeck bone,etc.. She's in breech position pa, still more time to turn. She lying on her hands yesterday. So cute!:) Cant wait to see u baby! :)

After the checked up i immediately called my parents,they were so happpy.and mom was telling me, see tama ako. hahaha I dont want to believe kasi, kasi nga mahirap umasa. hehe My family wanted to have girl also. My bro even texted me before " sana babae ate para aayusan ko." Most of my relatives guessed that its a baby girl. hahaha Oh btw, my dear lola guessed before that i'm having a baby girl. She was telling me last time( during my 14th week) that she had the feeling i'm having a girl. she kept telling me pa, "Lahat ng hula ko nagkakatotoo,kay ning nagkatotoo ( my cousin who recently just gave birth to a healthy baby boy) kay dexter ( my cousin also, a baby girl naman)". She's so right tama nga, galing talaga ni lola!:)

Yipeee! cant wait to buy things for our little princess!!!! :) cant wait to see you our little darling! :)

Pink or blue? Mini me or Mini arman ? :) super can't wait to know!one of the most exciting moment indeed. the last time we had check up baby didnt showed his/her genital. Our baby wants to excite mom and dad more.(ok, i still cant believe we're going to be parents sooon... =) ) A lot of people are asking us now what is the gender. and some were already guessing if our baby is a boy or a girl.even me,hahaha i have a feeling that our baby will be a ....... but its for me to keep muna,ill tell later if im correct :D We're already thinking and listing down what to buy if we have a boy or girl :) Actually what i planned before was not to know the gender, just to keep the excitment up to 9 months. but i cant help it. hehe and since i want everything to be color coordinated, so i changed my mind.. Boy or Girl we will be sooo happy as long as our baby is healthy,that's the most important thing :) Few days left! OMG i cant wait... :)

Or should i say our baby's first gift? :) Got a bday gift from mom's officemate. I was surprised when i saw the gift, it was for our baby :) So cute. An Electronic steam sterilizer and 4 cute feeding bottles , I was so happy when i saw its BPA free. All from Tommy Tippee. I soooo love it!!!♥♥♥

Wahh. I cant believe i'm getting these kinds of gifts now,pang baby na :) Its making more and more excited :) Cant waitttt to shop things for our baby!!! :)

Saturday - Went out last sat to meet my friends. Hubby and me were at the KCR Train last sat,and as usual all seats were occupied,i was just telling arman that "Naku pag may nagpaupo na sakin meaning buntis na buntis na nga ako" but to our surprise, there was a lady who is in late 40's who offered her seat to me,kinalabit ako and i was like super gulat and said immediately thank you in chinese. I took her seat and i thought she's going down na sa next station, 2 or 3 stations had passed and she's still there standing. She got off the same station as ours.Super layo pa pala.I just couldnt believe im now one of the needy persons na pala.haha and its kinda obvious na pala that im now preggy! hehehe I just hope to meet everyday that kind of people. :)

Sunday - Mom called me that my siopao has finally arrived.hahahaha. Im craving for it for 2 weeks already. So Last week we went to filipino store just to look and buy siopao. But unluckily, they are not selling na pala.wahh! I wanted to eat Siopao chowking asado. They were telling me na meron naman dito but ofcourse its a chinese version siopao " cha siw pao"in cantonese and taste is so diff. Its yummy naman but i wanted the filipino version. Then Luckily, one of my mom's officemate's helper is coming to hk this sat,so she asked for a favor. Then nung sunday, mom's offcemate brought my 3 siopao's. She was very excited to tell me na nandito na yung siopao. and i just cant wait for it. Eto na, when mom got home, gulat ako it was all Bola-Bola. waaaaaah. i was like ano ba yan. nalungkot ako bigla. hahaha I was expecting na finally i can eat siopao asado. hahaha! I told them cge ok na nga lang, may asado sauce naman.Mom was convincing me " di bale,lapit na naman kayo umuwi eh" tsaka " Hanap na lang ulit ako ng may uuwi" .She's not familiar kasi sa mga flavor ng siopao so sabi nya kahit ano nlng kala nya isa lang kasi flavor.Grr... hehe But super thanks mama for finding a way para lang makakain ako ng siopao.:) Ok now,lapit na maubos si siopao ko. 1 nlng. hehehe Ang hirap talaga maghanap ng food na gusto mo na wala dito. i just cant wait to be back again, and eat foods that me and hubby are craving :)
Me and hubby went to IKEA to buy some stuffs for our home sweet room :) I wanted kasi to decorate our room for our baby, i want to buy new things and para pag dating ni baby maayos lahat cympre.Since we cant start pa buying things for baby as we are still waiting for our baby's gender,so while waiting we'll decorate the room first :) Wieee. cant wait for sat ulit! :)

Hubby and me bought baby jayshe's first collection, a book and a classical cd "The Mozart Effect, Music for babies" last weekend. We will start to tell stories to our baby.hehehe and let our baby listen to baby music as he/she can now sense sounds. especially my voice :P They say kasi its good for mom-to-be and especially unborn baby to listen to classical music para daw marelax and has good effects daw to unborn baby :) cant wait to buy clothes/stuffs for our baby. As soon as we find out our baby's gender we'll start buying :D cant waiiittt! :D

I'm on my 16th week already. wah cant believe sobrang bilis! i can feel something na, parang may butterfly feeling sa puson minsan :D I'm back doing countdown,haha parang kelan lang ngccountdown ako! :) I had my check up yesterday.and saw again our baby. so happy. OB said our baby is very very active. hahaha! Our baby is in sitting position daw. She tried to see the gender but again she wasnt able to see it. i really wonder if its boy or girl. pakita ka na kasi baby :D it really feels good to know that our baby is healthy and doin good inside me :) Thanks to God :) cant wait for my next check up.

My first tri exprience :)

04 Jun 09 when we found out that I'm preggy. It was one of the best moment in our lives.A truly answered prayer. 15 Jun 09 when i had my first check up here in hk. I was so excited... and nervous at the same time because i will now see my baby for the first time . The OB asked me few questions and she asked me to lie down for an Ultrasound. My heart was really beating really fast.Few mins later, she kept scrolling the " gadget"( ha! i dont know what its called :P )on my tummy. I suddenly became worried and wondered whats wrong. She told me she cant see the baby since our baby is too small , and she ask me if she can do TVS just to make sure our baby is there. Sympre pumayag ako. When she started the TVS, she told me that she now can see our baby. i was so happy. she even let us hear our baby's heartbeat. she told us our baby is healthy. and so i was relief. Our baby's size that time was 2.27mm. its like a sesame seed only. so while doing the scan i kept asking her to repeat and repeat haha. Hearing our baby's heartbeat made us really happy because they say once the heartbeat beats all the organs will now start to develop.

21 Jul 09 was my 2nd check up.Finally,dumating din :) Sobrang inip na inip na ako sa kakahintay sa araw na to. I'm so excited to see my baby again. We took half day that day. This time the OB should now see our baby through the tummy scan. When she was doing the scan, we were so amazed when she pointed out our baby. Our baby has grown a lot. I can now see him/her. His/Her size was 2.97cm already and that is almost 1.5 inches! and moving alot. She said our baby is healthy and perfectly fine. Then all my worries were all gone :D He/She was just like a "peanut" shape that time. hehe but still we can now see him/her clearly unlike before. arman was so amazed. he kept telling me and the ob that our baby is moving alot. and I can now see his/her hearbeat through the monitor. and its really fast :)

28 Jul 09 was my 3rd check up. But this time in a hospital. I should have record here so that if it in case something atleast they know what is happening to me. I saw my baby for the 3rd time. and this time he/she has now 2 arms and 2 legs. Our baby's size was 6.49 cm and that is 2.5 inches! Ang bilis lumaki ni baby :) Our baby again was moving alot maybe he/she can feel that someone was checking on him/her. The OB said our baby is facing the gadget. She started to point out the eyes, nose, mouth. But ofcourse it was not totally clear and developed that time. So i hardly cant see pa. I was amazed when i saw him/her kicking and moving alot. I really cant believe someone is inside my tummy. Its so amazing and indeed a God's miracle.

Wieee! A wonderful experience. I cant believe tapos na ang first tri ko. with ofcourse with my loving hubby by my side, I am so thankful he's here.Para na din syang buntis.hehe and ofcourse my loving parents. We are so happy baby is holding really tight and healthy :) Just keep on holding baby... We love you. :)

Finally, na-announce ko na din! :) and I know some were wondering kung bakit last week ko lang inannounce.hehehe its just that ayaw ko lang maudlot and para paginannounce ko medyo malaki na si baby :) I am just so happy finally i've shared everyone the greatest blessing that God gave us.Thanks to all who commented on my FB and multiply post last week :) You guys made me really happy :)

A great bundle of joy is coming A God's greatest gift...

A dream come true. I am soon going to be a mom. Till now, i still cant believe that i'm carying our little one inside my womb and soon we will able to hold his/her. we're going to be parents really soon and we are so excited about it. God is been really good to us. He's been showering alot of blessings to us. We are really really thankful for this wonderful blessing. Words are enough to describe how happy we are for this blessing.We told each other that within this year we will have our baby then boom! here comes the baby!:) We really prayed for this and we are so thankful He gave you to us. You changed our life in a moment baby...

Side story: I was only 2 days delayed when we had our first PT, Arman was the one who chooses the brand. We bought 2 diff kinds. It was late afternoon when i took it, i couldnt wait anymore for the next day coz they said the best time to take PT is early in the morning because it is when our HCG level is high. We were really nervous and excited. Hubby asked me to go outside and wait for the result for 3mins. After 3 mins he told we will both close our eyes,then finally he flipped the PT, i couldnt believe what i am seeing, 2 clear lines. and 2 lines meaning its POSITIVE! :) We hugged and kissed each other. I cries.Tears of joy. You know the feeling is soooo unforgettable. Happiest moment of our lives.But since we took it in the afternoon, the PT could not be 100% sure So we decided this time to take PT early in the morning,since i am so excited, woke up really early 5am, i asked arman to wake up and have another PT, and guess what it turned out to be POSITIVE again! :) so this is really is it :D But you know, 2 PTs is not enough for me. hahaha! because i still cant believe. So i asked my mom to buy one more PT. hahaha! 3rd time around its still positive. hahaha But ofcourse still im not yet satisfied, i didnt tell them that i have plan to take another one. hahaha! I bought and took PT during office hours. hehehe and ofcourse the result is still positive. They we're really laughing at me when i told them. Hobby ko na daw sabi ni arman. Ang sarap kasi ng feeling...so addicting.hahaha :) It's so different.

Now im on my 3rd month.Few more months away. Can't wait to see and hold you baby. Still sometimes the feeling is so scary.hahaha bec i cant imagine someone is inside my womb. but the feeling is so priceless really.I'm enjoying every moment of it.

We love you sooo much bab. cant really wait to see and hold you in my arms :)
